Task

We were asked to produce an English editorial article from the field of aviation safety about DLR/WxFusion’s innovative thunderstorm forecasting technology Cb-Tram. The goal was two-fold: to present this new technology to an international audience from the aviation industry and to vividly convey Lufthansa’s practical experience with it through the story of a test flight.

The writing of this article required that we become extensively familiarized with the topic, conduct multiple interviews with a senior DLR scientist and a Lufthansa test pilot and carry out the editorial preparation of the topic in English

DLR and WxFusion

For several years now, we’ve been supporting the DLR and WxFusion with internal and external translations of all kinds. This has included the German translation of a website project that was done in collaboration with NASA.
